Penn Virginia Today Eagle Ford Shale will Drive the Growth 2 • Contiguous and high-quality acreage position in the Eagle Ford Shale • 72,200 net acres with greater than 890 remaining drilling locations and growing • Approximately a 10-year drilling inventory and growing • 51 MMBOE of proved reserves and 170 MMBOE of 3P reserves and growing • Realistic goal is to increase position to 100,000 net acres and well over 1,000 remaining drilling locations • Expect 2014 oil production growth of 65% to 85% • Drilling and completion costs are being reduced • Pad drilling and “zipper fracs” have increased efficiencies and have improved well results • Steps in place for financial liquidity to enable us to execute • Exploration effort to develop the next “new play” • Excellent organization to manage a rapidly growing company
