Appalachian pure-play Pin Oak Energy Partners acquired producing conventional assets in Elk County, Pennsylvania, on acreage targeting the Marcellus shale. From the same undisclosed seller, the company also acquired a 12-mile midstream gathering system with a 25 MMcf/d peak volume, which it will operate.
