Cheniere ships first LNG from Corpus Christi facility
The first commissioning cargo left Cheniere Energy’s new Corpus Christi LNG facility, launching the next wave of projects expected to make the US third in the world in LNG export capacity by YE19. It was the first LNG export shipment from Texas, as well as the first from a greenfield liquefaction facility in the Lower 48 states.
