Gear Energy ltd. is seeking to farm out or sell acreage in the Provost area of east-central Alberta. Targeting the Sparky formation, the assets include one drillready horizontal location and 25 followup locations. Estimated reserves are 118,000 boe (85% liquids) with expected production of 115 boe/d (85% liquids) from the well. Gear’s three core areas are Lloydminster heavy oil, southeast Saskatchewan light oil and central Alberta light oil.
