Initial horizontal drilling of EP Energy’s Northeastern Utah or NEU project area,
as the company has renamed its Altamont position in the Uinta Basin, resulted in the
most productive well in company history. Located in Duchesne County,
Utah, the Duchesne City #1-25-26-C5-2H was drilled with a 9,800-ft lateral
in the Wasatch formation. On
test, the well flowed an IP24 of 1,591
