Petrobras boosts divestment target to $26.9B by 2023
Petrobras welcomed its new CEO, economist Roberto Castello Branco, on Jan. 3 after his appointment by Brazil’s new president Jair Bolsonaro. His priorities will be accelerating asset sales to reduce the company’s $73 billion in net debt, as well as sharpening focus on deepwater assets off Brazil.
