US crude oil inventories posted an increase of 2.4 MMbbl for the week that ended Sept. 20, according to last week’s report from the Energy Information Administration. Gasoline inventories increased 0.5 MMbbl, while distillate inventories decreased 3.0 MMbbl. Total petroleum inventories posted an increase of 0.7 MMbbl.
