Description
Unit Petroleum Co is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Unit Corporation and is engaged in the exploration for and production of oil and natural gas, the acquisition of producing oil and natural gas properties, the contract drilling of onshore oil and natural gas wells, and the gathering and processing of natural gas.
The company operates in the Mississippian, Marmaton Oil Play, Hoxbar Play, Granite Wash Play and Wilcox Liquids Play. At year end 2014 the company owned 180MMBoe of reserves, of which 76% were proved developed.
Unit Corporation is also made up of Unit Drilling Company and Superior Pipeline Company.
